Our Story...
It all started with a bad customer service experience. Lisa had purchased personalized products from an online business that turned out to be a lesson learned. With this, Lisa’s husband, Bill, encouraged her by purchasing equipment to make her own products. After posting the very first product she made, a personalized acrylic tumbler, on her own Facebook page, she got requests to make more for others. And so it began…as just a hobby and something she enjoyed doing on the side. In December of 2011, Lisa started a Facebook business page and decided on the name “Made With Grace”, with Grace meaning ‘simple elegance’ and being her daughter’s middle name.
For several years, Lisa created and fulfilled orders (with the help of a great friend) from her home, while working full-time. With the purchase of more equipment and more orders always coming in, she had a desire to open a storefront. At this same time, her father, Kenny, was in the market for a new career path. With much discussion and optimism, Made With Grace, LLC was formed in August 2014. We opened our very first storefront in November 2014 on Clay Street in Jasper. In addition to personalized products, we also wanted to bring something new to the area and felt that fruit bouquets were something unique to offer along with the gifts.
Our desire was to grow and offer more, but space was limited with our location. The opportunity came to move to a location on the square in downtown Jasper. So April 2016, we opened our doors at our location on the square. This move brought us much more foot traffic and lots of great neighbors! We continued to expand and grow in the following year and a half.
As we were always looking for more ways to grow, another opportunity came to us – the acquisition of Jasper Gift Basket and Popcorn Company. The timing seemed right and it seemed to make a great merger to combine what we offered, with all that they had to offer. So, in January 2018, the two became one and we made the move to their location on Newton Street in Jasper. With retaining the Jasper Gift Basket staff with the acquisition, we are able to offer a wide variety of gourmet products, personalized and bereavement gifts.
In 2019, we grew once again! We added fresh flowers to our long line of products, becoming a florist as well! And with this change, we also rebranded and become Jasper Flowers & Gifts - Where Everything is Made With Grace!
Today, we offer fresh flowers, over 90 flavors of gourmet popcorn, a large variety of gourmet and novelty chocolates, fruit bouquets, fruit kabobs, and chocolate covered strawberries – all made right here in store! You can find a large selection of bereavement and memorial gifts in store. We also carry gourmet snack mixes, dips, seasonings, salsas and so much more. We also continue to offer personalized items with vinyl and embroidery. Almost all of our products can be arranged and made into a beautiful gift basket, which is perfect for gift giving.
While a lot has happened in such a short time, we are very excited about all the opportunities we have had and all that is yet to come, and so thankful for all the support through the years to get us to where we are today.
